Site-Bomb

"HQ to Team 3, As you've proven that you are unable to contain The anomaly that escaped from Montana, we have decided to send in a specialist. He will be taking over your team from now on. We have given him the best equipment possible to aid him in his mission. Be sure to follow any and all orders from him until that anomaly is secured. His code name is Site-Bomb. Good luck team. HQ out"

"As you've all heard, I'll be your new commanding officer. I am going to have to ask you all to do your jobs exactly how I say them. Failure to comply with my orders may result in your immediate termination. Now I know it took me a little bit longer to get here than what you were expecting. But that was because I was doing something that I would have expected your team to do.

As you are probably aware, there has been a large amount of disappearances around this town recently. Are any of you aware of the similarities between these disappearances? Well let me tell you. All of the victims of these disappearances were Killed in their homes before mysteriously vanishing. All of the homes had the victim's blood on the walls and floor of the home as well. So now you may be thinking... 'what does this have to do with us?' Well...

There was also one more detail that ties these cases together.

All of the home had a noticeable amount of white fur strewn about the home. And as far I know, none of the victims owned any pets.

I'm sure you are able to follow what I'm saying, correct?

Heh, Don't look so surprised just yet. I have even better news than a simple deduction."

Site-Bomb reaches into his jacket and pulls out a photo before presenting it to the team.

"You see this right here. After you let the Anomaly escape, it was picked up by this girl. Unfortunately this photo only covers the top of her head but that's enough. From this, I can deduce that this girl is most likely in high school. If we can find  this girl, we will be able to recover the dog as well.

"Do you understand?" Site-Bomb asks the team.

"Yes sir" They all respond.

"Good. Then why are you still standing here? Split up and maintain surveillance on every high school within this city. Find that girl and find out where she lives." Site-bomb states as he begins to leave. "Meeting adjourned."

"Woah, That's amazing!" Rio exclaims as he watches his body become lighter.

His senses were much more alert than they were before. and he was much faster on his feet as well. He was at least faster than a normal human now.

Unfortunately, his strength was still lacking. He was about as strong as a toddler.  But that could be solved as he looked towards his next milestone.

"1000 huh? That's quite a lot, but if this doubles my power again, I would eventually be able to reach inhuman levels of power."

Rio looks at the ground in thought for a moment before looking up at the sky.

"As much as I would like to get started right away, 100 disappearances is a bit much. I should lay low for a while until the news forgets about them. I don't want to draw unnecessary attention to myself."

Rio returns back home where only Rachel's mother is home. Rachel had already left to go to school and her father was at work.

Rio sits himself down and watches the mother clean the kitchen as she prepares dinner for her family before they get home. She looked so happy when she was working. It was as if she put her heart and soul into her craft.

Rio had to admire the woman. She was quite beautiful and had a wonderful figure as well. She was in her mid 30's but she still had a nice figure and her skin was smooth as silk.

She looks behind her for a moment as if she could feel Rio watching her. She gives the dog a quiet smile before returning to her work.

Rio's heart would have skipped a beat if he was still human.

He couldn't help but stare at her as the mother continued to cook.

And soon his eyes began to lower as his body began to relax.

He figured that he could take a quick nap until Rachel returned from school.

He had been staying with the family for a few months now and had grown quite close with the young girl.

Talking with her made him feel as if he was with his own daughter. He couldn't shake the feeling of familiarity and it was as if he and the girl were connected by something.

And being with the family had its advantages. He was able satisfy his immense hunger without much worry, and to top if off. He finally had a comfortable place to rest.
