He could feel his own heartbeat pounding inside his chest, as he wondered how everything got to this point, and where did all of this even come from. Everything was so sudden. And scary. And painful. Did somebody really hate Jenna as much as they say? And why was she involved anyways? Why was the person targeting her? Was this some elaborate plan to get revenge for something? Jeremy felt himself getting confused again, which wasn't very often these days.Jeremy sighed and put the frame back on the table before walking upstairs and entering his room. “I found a secret door to the outside world” muttered the boy under his breath.“A secret doorway?” Jeremy repeated, a confused look appearing on his face“Yes...” the boy muttered, fidgeting nervously“Okay... The church bell rang loudly with the pitch shaking off debris across every piece of furniture, a man dressed in a black hat and a long black dress stood up while facing a stone carved in the shape of a cross. “Father I thank you for giving me another grace to witness a bloody new day" he whispered with his eyes closed and arms held out wide as if praying for the last few seconds that would lead up to him finally finding peace. He slowly opened his eyes. The sun was already down below the horizon, and suddenly the church bell began to ring louder, drawing attention to the growling coming from the doorstep. “Amen," he ended his prayer while removing his two pistols from their hostler tied around his waist before turning around. The next morning Roy wakes up from bed feeling normal, strong, and healthy. He walks out of the tent only to see several soldiers and officers walking around the area. They were dressed in uniforms, and all seemed very busy.Roy notices a woman standing near the tent. She is talking animatedly to someone who is standing behind a wooden bench. As he gets closer he recognizes the woman. She’s wearing a blue dress, and she’s chatting away with one of the guards in Arabic, both of them laughing together while pointing to something in their hands. One of the guards places a hand on the woman’s hip, and they share another laugh while leaning into each other's embrace and resting against each other for a short moment, which ends in them embracing fully. Roy looks at them for a second before turning back towards his destination. Meanwhile, at the military camp...the soldiers were all having fun shooting the zombies meters close to them as they ran around wildly trying to kill them. Some of them are aiming for areas where the zombies weren't moving, hoping for a lucky shot at a zombie who had died due to its wounds being fatal.One soldier is standing alone in front of the group of soldiers, trying to aim with his rifle. He fires off two shots and hits a zombie, causing it to collapse and die. He aims again and fires, missing the zombie by a couple of feet this time. With a sigh, he puts the rifle onto the ground and begins to walk away when he suddenly hears a noise coming from behind him and turns around surprised.Just then a large man runs up to the soldier, grabs him roughly by the collar of his shirt, and drags him off to the tent where he throws him unceremoniously on the floor before leaving and locking the door behind him. When they start to get hungry, they decide to grab some lunch, deciding to eat in the cafeteria since it is the most popular place to go for lunch. They find a table outside and sit down to eat their lunch.“Have you ever been to the library before?” Trisha asks after eating.“No” Roy admits.
