He played a beautiful melody, one she'd recognize anywhere. It was almost too perfect to be real. If she didn't know better, she'd think someone had recorded the music to send anonymously to the world. When she caught herself doing so, she immediately tried to push the thought away.
The song came to an end and she watched as the man bowed slightly to the crowd, receiving numerous applause. As he started towards the exit, she noticed an attractive young woman standing on one of the topmost staircases watching him as well. They were close enough together for Annabelle to see that the woman's features were quite similar to hers – dark curly hair and wide green eyes. She had a beautiful tan complexion and seemed very proud and confident.When the man reached the bottom of the staircase the stranger offered him a small polite smile and nodded at him once before turning away.
