Eric, in the meantime, was laying on his back on the dirty ground. His head rested on a piece of wood that was laying beside him, and he could feel that he had lost consciousness. He looks around the dusty town with his eyes closed. The last thing he remembers hearing was the bell ring loudly as a warning signal of the approaching danger, but the bells didn't stop ringing.Eric opens his eyes and finds himself on the floor. The sun was still shining brightly outside. Looking back into the hotel room, he sees Devian talking with Devon.Looking at Devian, Eric realizes the latter is looking at a window. Eric follows his direction and notices the same blackness as before covering the streets with darkness, except for the buildings of the town that was still lit up. answered Jake“Jake, can you lead us to the rest of my friends?” asked Jonathan as he looked around in shock, he saw hundreds of zombies coming toward them from all directionsJake laughed sarcastically, “Sure, you'll love the rest of the way!” he stated before heading back onto the road, Jonathan noticed something odd in the rear view mirror“Where did they come from?” asked Jonathan“Don't worry about it” answered Jake“What!?” Jonathan yelled, “how could I not worry?! Look at them!”Jake glanced over at the undead creatures chasing after them, “They aren't going anywhere”As Jake continued racing down the street, the undead creatures fell in line behind him, closing in on Jonathan and his family. After an hour of discussion, the boys finally decided to stop talking and try to sleep.It was already getting dark when they woke up, realizing that it would be impossible to continue strategizing during the night, so they decided that it would be best to leave camp and search for some sort of shelter for the night.“Do we really need all the weapons though?” asked Zack nervously, glancing at the backpack lying in the middle of the clearing“Yes Zack we do!” snapped Jeremy, annoyed by the younger teens doubts, “Look, we'll find somewhere to hide them, okay? Did someone hurt you?!” exclaimed MichaelZack looked up sharply, his expression changing drastically from anger to worry“No, no one” said Zack quickly, taking a calming breath before continuing “My parents abandoned us, so we live by ourselves in the woods. The only thing my mother ever showed me kindness towards was her son, so it’s no surprise that I developed some sort of attachment to them” explained Zack, staring intensely at his lap, clearly frustrated with himself“Are they okay?” asked MichaelZack shrugged in response, deciding against explaining further“How old are you Zack?”“Twenty three years old. A couple hours passed without any real activity, which was a rare occurrence for the group. Everyone seemed to be lost in their own thoughts, trying to figure out what would happen next. After an hour Michael decided it was time to leave.“Alright, we should probably get going soon. If mom sees us in here she's gonna get worried” he said, standing upZack nodded in agreement and grabbed his backpack, following Michael outside. He walked alongside him until they made their way to the car.Michael opened the door and motioned for Zack to slide in. Once the younger boy had sat down he closed the door and got into the driver’s seat. The boys spent the rest of the drive in silence, both deep in thought about everything that had transpired over the past week, each contemplating what exactly they were going to tell their parents when they got home and whether they would continue living there or move into a motel.When they arrived back at the house, everyone was waiting for them.“What took y

limp body in his arms and carried it to the hallway where they had been staying.Michael let out a scream of frustration as he watched helplessly as the other boy carried Jenna. He immediately rushed forward, trying to get rid of the older boy before he hurt her even more. But the boy managed to get past him, running out of the school premises. Michael sighed deeply and ran his hand through his hair, feeling frustrated, anxious and worried about Jenna. Why would this happen? Did she do something to deserve that? Or was it just her luck to end up getting involved with these bullies? All these questions kept circling inside of his mind relentlessly.Suddenly the older boy stopped running. Michael almost slammed into him as he did, only managing to avoid bumping into him by the last second. His face was completely unreadable, except for his cold blue eyes, as the other two boys turned around to look at Michael and Jeremy, who were frozen in shock.“What the hell are you kids looking at?”
