“Stop it!” screamed Levi, grabbing the sides of Balthazar’s head. “I said I’ll stop!”

“Then I’ll stop. Go ahead. I don’ t want to see you ever again. I can barely stand looking at you.”

Levi let go of Balthazar, who stepped back and walked away. He looked over at Levi, then looked at his feet.

“You’re pathetic,” he said simply. “And you’re selfish. You don’t deserve to be an adult at all.” Then he stomped out of the apartment.

He left the door open. Levi was already staring at the ground, probably too ashamed to go inside. Balthazar sighed before walking away without saying anything more. He headed towards his own apartment, where he was met with Reiner and Bertolt waiting outside. Reiner was eating an apple slice, while Bertolt stood next to him with his arms folded.

Reiner noticed him first. “Hey, Hanji! Long time no see! How’s life treating you?”
