DEAD MAN'S JOURNEY

CHAPTER - 6

I stared at the hall with bright eyes. Everything here was showing off the aura of pureness.

There were ripples on the water surface as my feets moved forward.

The whole place was so quiet that I heard the ripples of the water echoing.

Even my own breathing was loud here.

I looked at the tree-like decorations. Some gold ribbons also tied around them.

I touched it and could feel the coldness through the black gloves.

"Haaa…"

My own breath took over the sounds of ripples. My eyes scanned around and landed on the structure in the middle of the hall.

I walked over the floor made of white marbles and the Emperor's tears of sadness.

*Step*

Few short stairs took me to the structure as I stopped before two graves.

One was occupied with the deceased body of the Emperor's wife while the other was empty.

"You couldn't even bury yourself with your wife, Emperor."

I had a bitter smile on my face as I stared at the graves.

"Rest in peace, Empress."

I muttered as my eyes closed and my mind clear of any thoughts.

Least I can pray for them.

"I will remember you both. Don't worry."

I circled around the two graves and went to the other side of the hall.

There was a huge door made of gold and marbles in darker shade.

I stepped further and pushed the door. But only a touch was needed for it to open on its own.

I saw that the door led to another hall which was connected to the exit and entry of the palace.

On the sides were the stairs to go down and reach the ground floor.

"How did I come here?"

I was surprised by the luxurious palace which seemed to be made out of marbles and gold.

"How did the Emperor carve this palace?"

If it were me, I couldn't have done it.

I walked down the stairs and came to the ground floor.

There were many paths here which lead to multiple different directions.

Before checking the palace out, I had to see where exactly I was.

I stepped out of the majestic palace and saw the ruined city.

'So that's how it is!'

I wasn't teleported to somewhere unknown. The palace was the one to come here.

The place where there was the crater is no more as the palace took it.

I could see two huge and tall marble towers in the front. It should be the guarding towers where mages stay.

The voice said that I can change the island as I want except making it into something entirely else.

I went back to the palace and roamed. There were tens of bedrooms. Tens of washrooms.

Almost more than a hundred rooms.

If it were in my past world. Yes, I am transmigrated.

The price of this palace can go up to 5 billion in US dollars.

And now I own this!

I have a palace! And it is also a magical one!

From the information in my head, this Palace, like the other Wonders, can't be destroyed.

Unless a God decides at least.

"Fuu!"

I was half tired just taking a single round of the entire palace.

From everything I have seen of this palace, I can say one word to describe it.

No one is here. Other than me that is.

I went back to the hall where the two graves were.

Then I walked inside the closed room which had the Control Stone.

"I will call this room, 'control room'."

So in the control room, I went in the water and checked whether I could breathe.

And I could.

I can even walk underwater if I wanted to. Wasn't it wonderful?

Looking at the Control Stone, I touched it with the black gloves.

My vision left my body as I saw myself in a third perspective view.

'Hoo!'

'I can even do this! Damn!'

I expanded my vision and saw the palace from a high altitude.

Going more, I can see the entire ruined city and the forest.

I continued and then hit a limit where my vision saw the entire floating island.

It was surrounded by a white fog which no matter what I did, I couldn't see through.

Anyways, my vision came back to body and I saw the Control Stone.

My hands are still on it as I thought of creating my first ever human.

Well, I think two should be better.

And so, I first thought of a man in his early 20s with very fair skin.

Not much muscular but with enough muscles in him.

Black hair, green eyes and sharp nose. He should be tall as I made him almost 1.9 meters in height.

He soon became a perfect male human with extreme beauty and also manly.

On the other side, a woman soon took her form with my imagination.

She wasn't as tall as the man because I made her to be so. 1.8 meters was her height.

Blonde hair, green eyes, matching nose, her lips making any man wild, and she now became an angel.

Her beauty was much higher than the man's, her body was also full of curves.

I name them Adam and Eve.

I feel like a cheaper version of God now.

But they weren't complete yet. What they needed was one drop of my blood each to come alive.

And so two drops of blood flew out from within me which entered their bodies.

I saw their body getting filled with my single drop of blood.

First it filled their heart and it started beating which caused the blood to circulate in the whole body.

They came alive but I made them so that they can't be born yet.

If they are born now, they will start acting like newborns.

So I must give them my intelligence. I am not stupid by the way!

With the help of the black gloves and the Control Stone, I viewed my own brain.

I see my memories. Getting beaten by my mother, scolded by father, slapped by teachers, and the embarrassing moments.

I have to be careful not to give them these.

It took a lot of time to select the memories of learning and writing.

Surprisingly, I can even see the memories I have once forgotten.

Like a long time in the past I studied the different metals and their molecules.

Fantastic!

I selected them all. I wasn't tired even a bit even if hours went by.

Hours later, I finished selecting everything which will be helpful.

And…

*Boom*

The memories entered the brains of Adam and Eve, which caused a loud explosion.

But not a dangerous one.

It will take time for the two to completely digest the memories so I created some clothes.

Robes for the two to wear which were in white color like the palace.

And for me, I made a t-shirt and pants with shoes in white and gold color.

"Haa…"

Only now did I feel my energy leaving my body and going into the Control Stone.

I can't continue!

I have reached my limits.

I moved my hands off the Control Stone and stepped back.

Adam and Eve would still be asleep unless I wanted them to wake up.

So taking my leave now, I headed towards the biggest bedroom.

The Emperor's bedroom. It's above the hall of the two graves.

From there, one can see the whole city and many portions of the forest.

"Ha!"

I laid my body on the bed and instantly fell in a deep slumber.

When I woke up, it was already night. I am also getting hungry.

A few things to know which I learned from the information in my head.

I age here almost triple time slower.

Which is, if I was supposed to live till 60 years, then here I will live till 180 years.

It can even be more!

Of course only me and not the living creatures here.

"Let's get them started."

I walked down the stairs and came to the front hall from where I entered the graves hall.

Control room, I saw Adam and Eve floating underwater with a white halos.

I made them wear the white and very light weight robes I created.

They had the white stripes slippers on.

"It's done."

The process of digesting all my memories was complete so now they can be born.

Before that, I touched the Control Stone and created a scepter made of white marbles.

It was long, similar in height to Adam.

You must know that I am a little over 2 meters because of the changes I went through.

On the top end of the scepter was an identical stone like the Control Stone but smaller.

This is to make it easier for me to control some small matters.

Like I can lift people or animals, even monsters, in air with the scepter.

It will also be the key to the automatic Defense and Attack system I planned to make.

It can also be the medium for me to shoot lighting, fire, and other moves.

I held the scepter and walked towards the graves hall. Behind me were the floating Adam and Eve.

They were yet to be born.

Sitting on the short stairs before the two graves, I looked at the two.

"Wake up…"

Their eyes slowly opened with them looking around and stopping at me.

They didn't say anything as I scanned them from head to toe.

Perfect!

I created the best and most beautiful humans!

They are the first born. The father and mother of humanity here.

I am the Creator!

But I don't want that…

"Call me King… And it won't be long until I become an Emperor!"
