The Final Resort

Lucy, gripping her dad's research, said, "We can't remain out in the open. We want to track down a protected spot to regroup."

Lucas added, "Yet we additionally need to move quickly. The Organization will be following right after us once they pull together."

Vanilla's eyes dashed around the ruined roads. "There's an unwanted manufacturing plant close by. It could give us an impermanent hideaway."

They advanced toward the industrial facility, their breaths shallow with tension. Inside, they tracked down a dusty, neglected place that offered a second's relief from the persistent pursuit.
