DEFILEMENT OF COSMIC

Chapter Nine- Cool, I got a system!

Mrs. Kyu and Mr. Yoshikazu stared at the place Min was supposed to be standing and had similar solemn expressions.

It was nearly impossible for this kind of thing to happen, it only happened with the aisurus, who may have gotten summoned by their guardian gods and their spirit was the only thing leaving but their body remaining, this particular phenomenon that happened now had only happened two times, to the queen and to her fifth son who was an active prince in the battle for the crown.

Min had disappeared completely, nobody, nada, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

No doubt she was in the orb, somehow, although Yoshikazu doubted since the orb looked normal, no glow, nothing, NOTHING AT ALL.

Any time Mrs. Kyu tried to jog her memory to remember what exactly happened when the light flashed, something seemed to obstruct her memories.

Atama-I: You poor mortal souls

"Sister, let's call someone who knows these things more than us, pretty please, with a cherry cuteness on top?" Mr. Yoshikazu pleaded with his sister with puppy eyes

"You idiot you're a man not a girl! (Smacks his head hard), who are you selling meng for?! How gross!"

"Ow! Don't take out your frustrations on me, you meanie!"

Mrs. Kyu huffed at this ridiculous idiot beside her while wondering why her life was so hard, she had already prepared a meal for them to eat, to celebrate Min's awakening, but why did she keep having this nagging feeling that Min was cheating on her and having a feast somewhere.

But, thinking about it, how did an ability awakening event turn into feasting? It was impossible so she decided to ignore this strange feeling.

Min who had a chicken stuffed mouth: hmph? I feel someone is worrying about me

Mrs. Kyu was really debating on what to do when an idea struck her--

"Aha! I remember now, I gave her an 'awakening communicator', it was meant to detect when the ability was too much for her to handle but we can use it to send her a message, at the very least, we'll finally get a head start somewhere"

"Why didn't you say it!"

"I forgot"

Yoshikazu wanted to reprimand his sister more, but seeing her blushing pink cheeks in embarrassment, he decided to let it go as he didn't want to embarrass her more, for now.

Mrs. Kyu placed her hand on the orb, her hands glowed blue while she had her eyes closed, channeling her mind energy to her spiritual sense she formed a few complex runes. 

These runes slowly merged together into a whole, using her mind energy she sent the message which followed a path before seemingly disappearing as soon as it touched the orb.

This gave her a glimmer of hope as she intercepted the orb's space only to be thoroughly disappointed as the only thing she saw was a gray space with no traces of min whatsoever.

She opened her eyes, and frowned a bit but her face quickly turned normal again

"You didn't see any traces of her?"

"Yes, thoroughly blocked by high-level magic from sensing anything, but managed to send the message"

Yoshikazu stared at Min and said while frowning "Who is this girl?"

"Beats me, but one thing is for sure, she's going to be more trouble than saro, and I don't mind at all"

"Sister, do we call a high level figure for help, if it doesn't work?"

"No, this stays between us"

'The day I let the world know about saro's uniqueness was when the trouble really started'

Yoshikazu, seeming to have known what she was thinking about, only sighed and let her be.

Min was stuffing everything on the table into her mouth and the only one who wasn't losing to her was guruti, but she couldn't help it, the moment she tested shai's food into her mouth, she was expecting deliciousness but this was simply absurd, like the food was too good to be true, it made you want more, desire more, it was like heaven was melting into her mouth and this increased her sureness that magic was added into the food and that… WAS SOOO NOT HER CONCERN.

If the food is delicious what business of hers was it if magic was used? besides she was pretty sure this guys wouldn't hurt her;

She ate greedily, the food was a millions times better than any food she had tested including Mrs. Kyu's cooking.

Seeing min stuff the food into her mouth like a little squirrel filling up both of its cheeks, oshaberi decided to reward her with another story for being so cute and since she was a good listener.

Atama-I: Yeah…., quite an amazing one

Min the good and amazing listener: (Averts eyes guiltily)

Min was still feasting while 'listening' to oshaberi when the necklace Mrs. Kyu gave her glowed ice blue, the first thing that hit her mind was---

'OOOHHHH, so that was what I was forgetting'

Mrs. Kyu and Mr. Yoshikazu suffering to bring her back: You forgot?! You *beep*, I hope you get *beep* in your next life, F*** you!

Min the *beep*: Too bad for you, this will probably be my last reincarnation

Min already knowing the message glanced at it and… ignored it, although she started eating faster.

Kokishin already knew what the message was about but still wanted to hear it, out of curiosity, so she urged min to listen to the message

"Aren't you gonna listen to what she has to say to you?"

Min finished her last food and sighed satisfied while rubbing her tummy like a well fed cat, she turned to kokishin and answered

"I don't need to, it seems I have overstayed my visit a bit, eh?"

Min sighed before facing atama-I who was still acting all nobly, eating with manners and all, min only did that when she was with Mrs. Kyu and it was as boring as hell.

After giving atama-I a scrutinizing look she asked "How many hours has it been?"

"Three hours"

"Time ratio of here to outside?"

Atama-I glanced at her before answering---

"1:2"

"Shit! It has been an hour, 30 minutes! If you guys have anything to tell me, say it now and please take me back, this entire situation will look more suspicious and…."

Atama-I seemingly tired of her blabbing snapped her fingers and a portal appeared

"We'll have a medium that will explain what you need to do and the power you've awakened and we'll erase all evidence of our meeting from those humans, we'll handle everything, we'll discuss later through the medium, also keep the steak, it won't pass through…"

(Looks away from the chicken she had been slicing and to min),

"Bye"

"Okay, thanks and bye you guys"

Happi and a bunch of others bid her farewell with happi being the most enthusiastic one, waving and giggling.

Few seconds after min left---

Kokishin faced atama-I and asked with a guilty expression

"Shouldn't we have…"

"No, believe me she deserves it"

Kokishin gave a confused look at atama-I but she didn't seem ready to explain so Kokishin could only sigh.

Min appeared in front of Mrs. Kyu and Mr. Yoshikazu, she felt extremely weak.

She turned to them and expected to see relief in their faces but unexpectedly saw panic, they yelled at her to move;

Before Min could understand what was up, she felt a deep sense of dread, feeling very weak coupled with the fact that min was caught by surprise and was also very close to the orb, when the orb glowed and got shattered by a very strong spiritual energy, min got the full brunt of the attack and the outburst of spiritual energy sent her flying which caused her to hit the wall.

Mrs. Kyu and Mr. Yoshikazu was blinded by the light for a moment and when they got themselves, they saw min unconscious with few glass shards stuck to her body causing her to bleed, her injury weren't much to make her unconscious but being slammed at the wall by a strong outburst of spiritual energy was no joke, especially for the body of a fragile outsider.

Mrs. Kyu only sighed, she carried Min in a princess-carry and left the room with Mr. Yoshikazu following along worriedly.

Min woke up with pain all over her body, it wouldn't have been a serious problem if she was just blasted in her top condition and by normal spiritual energy but in her case not only was she weak in spiritual energy after going to those girls world, she was blasted by destructive energy which wrecked a bit of havoc to her body and she was sure that even though this was musekinin's powers, the proprietor of this very act must have been Atama-I.

'So it's a warning to not underestimate any of them, huh? Tch! What a meanie! Bullying a cutie like me! Hmph!'

Forgetting about that though, why was I so… weak when I came back? could it be that compared to my soul, that place is a high level world?, and I could only enter and survive because it was partially created by the former me, which means that even if I have been thoroughly weakened it still recognizes me, such a well created world;

In the end though, rules are still rules and a weak magic user in a high level world will have to use spiritual energy to stay or he or she goes in for it'

Min suddenly noticed that spiritual energy seemed like it was being dissolved slowly into her body

'Wow! Shai's food is so rich with spiritual energy, by the time my body finishes digesting and assimilating the food, my energy will be back, tsk! So that was what you were counting on, what a bitch'

Min was still planning to continue bad-mouthing a certain someone, when Mrs. Kyu entered into the room, min hurriedly put on a blank face that showed confusion and stared at Mrs. Kyu as if she had recently suffered from amnesia.

"Onee-san…, I don't remember anything and it hurts when I try to, like a knife stabbing pain…"

Mrs. Kyu suddenly felt bad due to her powerlessness, something bad might have happened to min but she couldn't do a thing, she refused to believe min was acting since she trusted min as a good kid, and she went through a rollercoaster of emotions blaming herself for not being able to help min,

If she wasn't so powerless, she wouldn't have had to give up on saro-chan, if she wasn't so powerless she could have stopped her at that time, if, only if she wasn't at the bottom of the chain...

This resolved her decision to go 'THERE' when the time comes.

Min could never have guessed that this little act of hers had caused Mrs. Kyu to make a decision that would change her entire life.

Mrs. Kyu consoled min who only gave a small smile in return, which caused Mrs. Kyu to feel guiltier especially after seeing how that excited little kid from the morning… ended up in this condition.

She called the nurse to heal her since she couldn't when min was asleep. Min wondered why though but decided to spare it, since she wasn't that curious anyways.

Kokishin: No! but I'm curious~!

After Mrs. Kyu left, min decided to rest for a bit when---
