DELUSION

chapter 6

His mother's screams made Yuda realize that he had made a mistake with his father. Yuda was nervous and went outside the house to escape. However, his steps stopped when he reached the fence. Yuda turned around and went back inside to help his father.

Yuda stood in front of the door and saw his mother trying to pull out the knife that was stuck in his father's calf. Then, after successfully removing the knife, his mother ran into the room and came out with a cloth to bind his father's feet to stop the blood from flowing out.

"Damn it, call an ambulance!" his father snapped.

Yuda was still silent and stood motionless in front of the door to see the blood coming out of his father's calf. Yuda did not know what to do, his mind was completely blank at that moment.

His father pulled his cell phone out of his pocket and tried to call an ambulance himself, but his mother quickly grabbed the phone out of his father's hand and then slammed the phone on the floor.

"What are you doing? You want me to die!" his father snapped.

"You forget that your wife is a nurse," his mother said.

"You're not my wife, you're my ex-wife! And you're not a nurse either, you're an ex-nurse who's turned into a madman!" his father snapped.

An unexpected slap from his mother hit his father on the left cheek. His father was astonished to see the courage of the woman who had always looked desperate.

"Shut up or I'll stick that knife in your mouth again this time!" snapped his mother.

"Yuda, enter the room!" His mother said, turning to Yuda. However, Yuda was still unmoved.

"Get in the room!" shouted his mother, who woke Yuda up and ran up the stairs to his room.

Yuda took the inhaler lying on his bed and sucked hard on it. Yuda still couldn't believe that he had done such a despicable thing in front of his parents.

'Am I that crazy?' Yuda thought to himself.

Then Yuda lay on the bed, worried. This time, his thoughts drifted to Ebit's body, which had not been buried last night.

Yuda got up, grabbed a jacket and left the room. On the first floor, Yuda saw his mother bandaging his father's wound. The eyes of his father and Yuda stared at each other, then Yuda looked down, still feeling guilty.

"I'm going to the cafe first," Yuda said.

But his words drew no response from his parents. His father angrily threw a sofa cushion at Yuda's back.

Yuda stood in front of the door while his eyes looked around his yard, Yuda was looking for a hoe and a shovel to take to his old house.

His footsteps stopped in front of the warehouse, then he went inside and got all the equipment he needed. After that, he loaded everything into the car.

With a heavy breath, Yuda still couldn't believe that he was actually doing this crazy thing for the first time.

Arriving at his old house, Yuda took the equipment out of the car and brought it inside.

Yuda saw that Ebit's body was covered in blood and began to smell bad. Yuda sat for a moment and thought about a few things. His eyes glanced occasionally to the courtyard, then to the living room.

Finally, Yuda decided to take a hammer and damage the tiles in the living room.

Yuda will make Ebit's grave in his old house. Yuda started hitting the tiles until they broke and the earth was visible. 2 meters of tiles were broken, then the earth was dug to a depth of 1.5 meters.

Then he dragged Ebit's body and put it in the hole he had made. Then the grave is covered again with soil.

Yuda felt tired and took a deep breath. Yuda sat behind the door with a worried feeling. But you can't change what you've done. Yuda went to the bathroom and washed his bloodied hands, staring at himself for a moment in the blurry, dusty mirror.

'That's exactly what he should get,' another whisper reached his ear.

Yuda came out of the abandoned house and sat back in the car. Yuda wiped his sweat and calmed his still shaking body. After calming down, Yuda took the cell phone out of his pants pocket, then looked at the photo that would be the second victim from his phone gallery.

Yuda was silent, then suddenly laughed out loud like a madman. This time he chose Ihsan, his classmate who always caused him trouble. Because of a post Ihsan wrote about an injustice in the school group, the other students hated him.

The world is indeed unfair, a murderer goes free just because his father is a general," was the content of the post.

Yuda then stepped on the gas and drove off to spy on Ihsan's life. After an hour's drive, Yuda's car finally stops at a private campus, the place where Ihsan is currently living the life that Yuda wants to live. Yuda sees that the campus is still deserted at 10 a.m., so Yuda decides to stop at the gas station to change his dirty clothes.

After everything looks clean and tidy, Yuda returns to the Ihsan campus to disguise himself as a student there. Yuda took his glasses and got out of the car. His eyes wandered around, looking for Ihsan among several students passing by in the campus area.

"Binggo," Yuda said, finally finding Ihsan, his old friend, who was sitting in the cafeteria enjoying his lunch. Yuda looked for a seat to spy on Ihsan from a distance.

Someone who banged hard on the table startled Yuda. A student with a fat body is standing in front of Ihsan's desk. I don't know what the problem is, Yuda doesn't know yet. The fat man took the bread in Ihsan's hand, then chewed the bread into his mouth with an angry face. Then he left Ihsan's presence. Ihsan, who was angry, then pulled the fat student's backpack. A fierce fight ensued in the canteen, which became a spectacle for the students on campus.

The fat student threw a punch at Ihsan.

Several wounds had landed on Ihsan's cheek until he was bruised, and the last blow was ready to hit Ihsan's stomach, but Yuda immediately ran and held him back.

"Let her go!" Yuda said.

The fat student aimed his punch at Yuda's face this time. However, Yuda managed to dodge and kicked the fat student, whose name he now knew, in the leg.

"Bobby!" shouted a girl from a distance as she ran over.

Bobi didn't stop there, he tried to fight Yuda again with a punch to the back. However, Yuda managed to escape again and ended up kicking Bobi's private parts hard, causing Bobi to groan in pain. Yuda then grabbed Ihsan's hand and the two of them ran out of the cafeteria.

Arriving at the parking lot, Yuda stopped breathlessly and let go of Ihsan's hand. Yuda quickly covered his mouth with a mask.

"Thanks, bro," Ihsan said and patted Yuda's shoulder.

Yuda remained silent and looked at Ihsan. Memories of his past shadowed his mind again, a heart full of anger was held back by Yuda as he met his old friend whom he had not seen for 3 years, but this time he could see Ihsan's eyes directly. The eyes belonged to someone who had made Yuda's life miserable until the very end.

'I won't let anyone else kill you first, I want to chop up every part of your body with my own hands,' Yuda thought.

Ihsan leaned against Yuda's car window, also panting.

"Damn, just watch and I'll do the math!" Ihsan grumbled and talked about Bobi.

"You've already lost, what are you going to do?" said Yuda.

"I know how to make him stop breathing when he steps on this campus," Ihsan said, then walked away. Yuda thought of a way to restrain Ihsan.

"I'm curious, can I come with you?" Yuda said, causing Ihsan's footsteps to stop. Yuda opened his car door and invited Ihsan to get in, Ihsan smiled and did not refuse.

Ihsan then asked Yuda to take him to an Internet cafe not far from the campus. After arriving at the cafe, Ihsan went inside and started to open several websites related to his campus on his laptop. A photo of a girl with no clothes was uploaded by Ihsan to social media and several campus groups.

"You know the girl who screamed earlier, we were together, she is my ex, who is now the boyfriend of that damn fat man," Ihsan said in an angry voice.

"You want to embarrass him?" Yuda added, guessing the plan Ihsan would make. Ihsan turned his head and looked into Yuda's eyes. Ihsan is suspicious of someone he just met on campus today.

"You better go, thanks for accompanying me," Ihsan said to Yuda. Yuda smiled slightly behind his mask.

"Not interesting, what if we just kill this man," Yuda said.

"Crazy! How is that possible, you are brave?" Ihsan said, then frowned and looked back at the laptop screen.

Ihsan was shocked when blood began to drip slowly from Ihsan's finger. The small cut from the knife in Yuda's hand hurt Ihsan's heart. Ihsan looked up in surprise.

"You're crazy!" Ihsan shouted, sucking the blood from his finger to stop the bleeding.

"If I succeed in killing this man, will you be my friend?" Yuda said. Ihsan was silent and looked into Yuda's eyes.

But this time was different, Ihsan managed to quickly take the knife out of Yuda's hand and now blood was coming out of Yuda's neck.
