CHAPTER 146

Alexander opened his palms before his managers. “I have not offended anyone recently so why would anybody want to sabotage my company?”

One of the managers walked up to Alexander and lowered the pitch of her voice. “Chairman, I think Benedict offended someone recently. You know that he’s currently with the Smith family so I believe he’s seeking refuge there. What if this was all his fault?”

Alexander pondered for a moment. It made sense to him. Benedict had been out of town for days and it was unlike his son to get away from home. He wrapped his hand around his neck and groaned and then he began to mumble curses.

The woman who linked Benedict’s interference with the situation was a subordinate of the Red family aside from being a manager of one of the company’s departments.

“Get out. All of you!” Alexander dismissed the managers. He yanked off his tie and quickly reached for his phone on the table.

His secretary quietly leaped out of the office.
