CHAPTER 153

On the helicopter, Henry kept dialing Steven’s number but it took a while before the call was responded to. Henry’s heart skipped a beat when Steven responded to the call.

“Steven. Is that you? How are you? Are you okay? Where are you?” Henry asked anxiously. The sound of the helicopter was so loud that Henry was shouting at the top of his voice.

Steven coughed. “Henry, I’m right here. I’m fine. I’m trying to fix the hotel’s automatic stimulating fire system.” He said and went on coughing.

Although the fire had not spread to the floor where Steven was, the smoke was already getting to him. Steven had been using a wet towel to cover his mouth and nose but he was still choking on smoke.

“The situation is already messed up. Why are you suffering yourself? You need to be evacuated immediately. I’m currently coming in a helicopter. I need you to stand by the window and try as much as you can to get away from the smoke.” Henry said.

Henry was in a panic. He had already seen the video s
