Chapter 193

Kelvin and Henry finally settled for a business car which was spacious enough to accommodate twenty passengers.

“Let’s go and get it,” Henry said and stood up.

Kelvin raised an eyebrow. “Wait, you mean right now?”

“Don’t worry about the urgency,” Henry replied with a smile. He went to the kitchen and instructed Hailey to look after the children then he went to meet Kelvin by the door.

There was only one car shop in the entire city. So instead of going in his car, Henry requested that they walk to the spot.

“It’s a way of exercising.” He had said.

As they made their way toward the car store, Henry looked at the old street carefully. The more he studied the area, the more he realized that it was tearing into pieces and the environment felt odd for him. He had three years’ worth of memory there and he couldn’t help but imagine how the neighbors who were forced out of the area felt despite being attached to the place all their lives.
