After Gideon's defeat, Gala didn't care if he had hurt his father's feelings. His mind was filled with the events that had shocked him tremendously. Indeed, they were the winning side, but a sense of pride and happiness did not touch his heart at all. Instead, confusion and high concern quickly took over him. He couldn't accept the disappearance of the die along with Dice no longer by his side.

The sacrifice shouldn't have happened. The future he saw shouldn't have come true. Flashbacks that he desperately wanted to erase from his life he now watched vividly. Even though he could prevent it, right? Why wouldn't his father listen? Why take such a risky action? Gala felt like going crazy thinking about how to go back to the past or at least prevent Dice from doing something that would make her leave Gala.
