"Dice, are you sure this is all safe?" Gala asks while making sure his shoes are securely fastened. In front of the wooden cabin, he resides in, there's a frozen lake. The afternoon sun's rays, warm enough on the face, can't penetrate the thickness of the ice covering the lake.

"Safe, sir," Dice extends her hand. "Try holding onto me. I won't let you fall."

Gala laughs. "Dice, you know?" The young man adjusts his head cover and the glasses he now wears not just as an accessory but as protection and a hidden alarm that's always ready. The dice safely hangs around his neck. Gala never lets it stay far because he witnessed how it works.

"Yes, sir?" Dice asks as her master doesn't continue his sentence. Her hand is still outstretched because this time, gliding on the ice-covered lake requires some skill. Gala could get hurt because, from Dice's observation, even though this place is safe and the ice thickness doesn't easily crack, he still needs to be cautious, right?
