"Cathleen," Gala calls softly. "Are you... serious?"

Cathleen slightly parts her cloak, sweeping the snowy path. She walks ahead while Gala stays a few steps behind. Their snowmobile is on the edge of the forest, and they venture further into it.

"Serious about what, sir?"

"Can you stop addressing me as sir?" Gala sighs. "Earlier, you mentioned that you're way older than me. Technically, that means you're older than me."

Cathleen turns and gives him a sharp glare, and Gala laughs as he approaches her.

"You're easily offended. What I'm saying is the truth, right?"

The girl chooses to ignore Gala. Her master is annoying but thrilling. Besides their closeness throughout the journey to a place she's eager to visit, Gala repeatedly stares at her without hesitation.
