Gala never wanted to move from his position. The door swung wide open, and Kyler couldn't close it or the sword Gala had been holding since earlier would cut down whatever he desired. The dice glowed dimly, making Gala appear much more menacing than when illuminated by bright lights because, precisely in the corridor of the room they both entered, the light was very dim. His eyes never shifted anywhere except to every movement Kyler made, whatever he was doing to his father's body. Even to blink, Gala still had to think because he was afraid Kyler would deny what he said.
