CHAPTER 12- TEMPORAL ECHOES

In Henry and butler Mr. Nolan Howard's conversation, it was raised as a possibility that he could be a bridge for a business proposal to Mr. Thompson, considering that they have a close relationship and he can effectively communicate and negotiate on behalf of the Wellington family.

"I'm just a son-in-law. They won't listen to anything I have to say. They think I'm an idiot who knows nothing but to obey whatever they want." Henry shook his head, reminiscing about the times when he would voice his opinions and be told to shut up because his words were worthless.

"George once told me that you're not just a son-in-law. There's something more to you than meets the eye. George saw potential in you, and he was never wrong about his words." Mr. Howard tried to uplift him while Henry gave a bitter smile.
