Chapter 01 | Plant World

"Ow!"

Dyra groaned in pain as her finger pricked with a thorn. He rubbed his eyes repeatedly until he realized the presence of a rose plant on the edge of the bed.

"Roses?" asked the girl with light brown eyes, surprised to find a plant embedded in a medium-sized white pot.

Even though the roses haven't bloomed yet, the leaves are already shady. Even the sharp thorns streak along the stalk.

"Why are there roses?" asked Dyra, shuffled off the bed and grabbed the pot filled with roses.

Dyra doesn't understand why the roses in her dream must be included in the real story. Yes, last night he dreamed of seeing beautiful red-crowned flowers blooming along the road. The girl was following a pleasant journey in a dream, until her hand ached as it touched the thorny stalk.

Not wanting to prolong the difficult thought, Dyra decided to take care of the plant. After all, the yard of his house looks deserted, he doesn't really like plants. However, for this time he will treat the rose as a cliché memory from his dream or can be called a sleeping flower.

The girl walked cheerfully towards the yard of her house. A few minutes, he thought for a moment to determine where to store the roses.

"Just here, okay?"

Dyra put the medium-sized pot near the fence of his house. So that the incoming sunlight does not reflect directly on it, because this one plant does not really like the beam of light, if it is often exposed to the hot sun, the plant will quickly wither.

He also did not forget to water the plants. The water is not so much, because the rose plant also does not really like water. If there are too many, the leaves fall and die.

As soon as Dyra splashed water on the roses, a ray of light blinded his vision. The girl crossed her arms covering half her eyes.

The glow of light filled his vision until it slowly dimmed. Despite feeling ambiguous, Dyra peeked at the gap between his fingers. Seeing the surrounding situation that is no longer dazzled by the light.

The crown of red petals bloomed beautifully, refreshing his eyes. Dyra's mouth opened wide in shock when she found such an amazing sight.

The roses he got when he woke up, are now in front of his eyes with a stunning appearance.

"The rose grew right away?" Dyra asked while swallowing his saliva with difficulty.

In a year in biology learning, the growth that occurs in rose plants must go through many processes. Not enough in a fraction of a second nor a minute. After studying the material, Dyra couldn't believe what was really happening to the plant in front of him. Did the plant have some kind of magic power? Or is there a miracle like in the fairy tales he often reads?

For too long observing the flowers in front of him, Dyra had not realized his surroundings. In the yard of the house, which has been deserted for a while, there is not a single plant, except for roses. Now it has turned into a beautiful garden, with many shady trees, chain vines, flowers of various types blooming, and the ground that is stepped on appears like grass.

"Welcome, Flower Queen."

Dyra caught a voice from a source behind him. As soon as he turned around, he found a two-legged banyan tree. The tree also has two eyeballs, a mouth and two hands. The girl pulled back slightly, away from the strange creature.

Strange creatures like that came back to greet him and pay their respects, Dyra increasingly did not understand what was happening.

He just realized that if he was in another world, even the clothes he was wearing were now replaced with a beautiful red dress that wrapped around his body.

"Praise, Queen of Flowers."

Simultaneously the plant-like creature crouched under his feet. Dyra stammered not knowing what to do.

"Who, Queen of Flowers?" asked Dyra to confirm the confusion that occurred.

"Queen of Flowers." They spoke again in unison, pointing at him with their thumbs. The impression is so polite, he respects Dyra who is now confused.

The girl looked down, to be precise between her legs there was a puddle of water that revealed her figure. On her head was a crown of roses that were still in bud, and she wore a beautiful dress like a princess.

"Am I a Queen?" asked Dyra to anyone. His question was nodded by the strange creature who lowered his gaze.

Half couldn't believe it, but Dyra was very happy to be recognized by a queen who seemed respected by the plant creatures.

"The Flower Queen is back! The Flower Queen is back!" Their cheers sounded deafening to Dyra's ears, the girl just smiled happily. He sits himself on the flower bud which is a lion there.

"Praise, Queen of Flowers." A tall plant approached Dyra. From his demeanor he looks dignified even above his head there is a crown that symbolizes if he is a King.

Is he the King? Is he Prince Dyra?

The sixteen year old girl threw all the unimportant thoughts out of her head. A plant in the form of a large, skinny tree approached Dyra and sat himself on the throne, beside the Queen of Flowers.

Dyra's heart was beating faster, he didn't know how to stop it. Her voice was almost audible to a creature as small as an amoeba, the girl felt her chest to make sure she was okay. What's with him? Did she fall in love with the King?

"I'm the Plant King ruler here. May the Flower Queen not forget that," he whispered. "Please, don't leave me again."

His words warmed Dyra's heart, the creature seemed to attract the girl's attention. Even though they had only recently met, the Queen of Flowers had fallen in love.

Too excited for the Plant King, Dyra poured all his emotions on the hilt of the throne. There were many thorns so sharp that they scratched the skin.

"Ow!"

All the plant creatures came closer at the same time when they heard Dyra's groan in pain. Likewise with the Plant King, he looked worried when he saw the Flower Queen's hand being scratched by a sharp spiked stalk.

"Sick?" he asked softly, slowly he took Dyra's hand while stroking it lovingly.

However, Dyra felt something strange about him. The pain subsided as his legs were swallowed by the flower buds of his throne.

Slowly, his body disappeared into the flower buds. Until it closed up to his head, the crown on his head fell off leaving an imprint on the Plant Kingdom.

Dyra emerged from the flower buds that were blooming in his yard. His eyes roamed around realizing that he was already in the real world.

"Where's the plant king?" asked Dyra looking around.

A few moments later, the flower that had bloomed earlier now disappeared like a mist, leaving not even a trace.
