The older man, who was Mr Nelson's secretary, adjusted his glasses and examined Damien from head to toe. "Dr Damien?" He questioned again and shook his head, "Mr Nelson never mentioned the name. I know every doctor who was called in for the former chairman's treatment, and you are not one of them."The secretary, Brian, wondered if the young man had gotten the wrong address, but it couldn't be. The hotel was among the top three five-star hotels and no one can mistake another address for it. "Are you sure you were invited here by Mr Nelson?" He questioned again to be sure. Damien tried to get out of the security officers' hold, but they gripped him harder. He gave up on trying and faced Brian, "I got an email telling me to come here."Brian drew his brows together in confusion. He looked at Damien again, wondering if he was lying. Not knowing what to believe, he went on to answer, "I handle all the emails of Mr Nelson. I never sent an email to any Dr Damien. You must be mistaken.""

He faced Brian with his jaw clenched, "Don't tell me he was here."Brian quickly bowed his head, "He was here," he answered, not daring to look at him. Mr Nelson let out a deep breath and looked around, "Where is he? Did he go to the restroom?" He questioned at once and licked the seam of his lips, looking nervous. "He agreed to come. This is great news," he muttered."Sir, I apologize," Brian started, putting Mr Nelson's happiness to a stop. He lifted his brows with his gaze fixed on him as he waited for him to explain himself. Brian went on, "I didn't recognize him and I sent him out, thinking he came to the wrong place.""What do you mean by you sent him out?" He asked with his voice calm, but Brian knew it meant he was about to spit fire.

He thought of a way to get it, but that would put his life in danger. He looked behind him and saw that falling would be more dangerous. 'what should I do now?' he wondered, trying to think but every way he could come up with, would end him up in danger. Suddenly, he heard the sound of a helicopter and the wolf ran back into the woods. He looked up and sighed. "Thank goodness," he muttered and looked down the cliff. "Mrs Legg, I just hope you are not down there," he muttered. "Sir," he heard a voice call out to him, forcing him to turn back. Eric came out of the woods and sighed in relief seeing him. She looked back and noticed she was surrounded by a thick bush. Tears flow down her eyes as realization draws on her. She was lost and she had no idea how she got there."Please don't," she cried and bent down, crying her eyes out. She stayed in that position for a few minutes before she heard a whisper from a distance. She sharply looked up and her body shook in fright. "Who's there?" She asked, with her gaze focused on the direction the whistle came from. It was from the bushes and her instinct immediately told her it might be a wild animal. She stood up and took a step back. "Please, don't harm me," she cried, not minding if i

Damien kept stealing gazes at Mrs Legg as the lawyers laid their arguments before the judge. She looked so pale and weak and he knew in a matter of time, she would collapse. The evidence they had was brought forward, including the evidence that he wasn't at the hospital during the patient's death. Immediately it was revealed to everyone in the court, and Mrs Leg began to wail. Damien's heart broke into a million pieces. He couldn't shove the thought of it happening at his hospital, which made him guilty too. After an hour, the judge declared him not guilty of the charges, bringing the case to an end. Bianca watched across the courtroom with a smile plastered on her face. She left her seat and walked to Damien who looked lost. "Hey," she said, calling his attention. He looked at her and forced a small smile. "You don't look happy.""I do. I am just awed," he answered. "I know you, Mr Williams. Damien walked into the private room Mrs Legg was in and stood by the door with his gaze fixed on her. They both stared at each other quietly, having different thoughts running through their minds. "Come in," she said with spite lacing her voice. Damien nodded and went closer to her. "How are you feeling now?"She let out a deep breath and looked away, ignoring his questions. "Why did you bring me here? What is your motive? Are you trying to show everyone you are a good guy?" She asked, clenching her jaw. Damien sighed, not surprised by her questions. Even though Eric had told him about her urgency to meet him, he knew she was still going to scold him and let out her hate on him. But, he was ready to accept it all. "That wasn't the intention, ma'am," he answered politely. She scoffed and looked at him. "Do you think I am a fool? I know what you are playing at. This is all a game to you to escape the punishment you will receive for what you did."He said nothing and only lowered h

Damien checked Mrs Legg's vitals for the third time and nodded in satisfaction. She had almost lost her life to a cardiac arrest, but they were able to revive her and her blood pressure was back to normal. He sighed deeply and handed the file to his nurse. "She is all better but would need a lot of rest and comfort," he said and the young lady nodded in response. Damien recalled what she said about people making things hard for her and he frowned. Were they making things for her because of the case? He couldn't come up with a conclusion, but in all, he felt disgusted at the people who dated and made her cry knowing she was going through a lot. He couldn't blame her for her accusations. "What can I do to make you see the truth? What would I do to make you feel even if it's just a little peace?" He wondered and sighed deeply. "Sir, what are you going to do when she wakes up?" Eric who had been standing behind him asked. He went on, "You know she despises this place and will surely

Regina's eyes went round as she stared at her sister, mute. She was sure Bianca knew something and that was why she was messing around with her. "Why… what … how could… how could… you think that…" she shuttered and swallowed hard, with her words hanging in her throat. She knew she was doomed. Bianca stared at her curiously but suddenly let out a deep breath and laughed. "Why would I even think you killed the young man? You can't hurt a fly physically. You are all talks but no action," she said and shook her head. Regina let out a deep breath of relief and lowered her head. It felt as if her heart was about to jump out of her chest, but luckily, her sister wasn't able to figure it out."Bianca, I think that is enough talk for today. "You are leaving this house and you cared not to tell anyone. What is going on with you, Regina?"Regina rolled her eyes and gripped her bag tightly.
