Damien drew his brows together, staring at him in confusion. What job would he want him to do that would attract bountiful pay?

Whatever Neil was up to, wasn't going to end well.

"What job are you talking about?" Damien questioned curiously his brows knitted.

Neil looked around and when he was sure no one was looking at them, he stepped closer. "I want you to go back to the hotel and tell everyone what you said was a lie. You were made to say it. Tell them Nelson made you lie," he answered, taking Damien aback.

"You want me to go as far as doing that? Then what would you do? Continue giving your father the sleeping medications until his death?"

He sighed and every part of him spoke frustration, "I won't give him that medication. I just want you to tell everyone that Nelson sent you and you vindicate me from all these. Maybe my father may like me a little bit," he lowered his gaze as he said the last sentence.
