Damien placed his hand on his cheek, taken aback by the slap, which he never expected and didn't deserve.

"Go on, apologize to me," she instructed, not bothered about the fact that she slapped a grown man, who she didn't know and had never seen, in front of everyone present.

He clenched his jaw and dropped his hand. "It is not proper to slap someone you don't know because of something terrible you did," he pointed out, trying to calm his rage.

She smirked and crossed her arms across her chest, "Someone I don't know? Who the fuck are you? From the look of it," she scrutinized him from head to toe, "You are nothing. People like you are the drivers and servants working for me."

The other ladies behind her laughed, enjoying the drama. Damien let out a deep breath and put his hands into his pocket. The young girl would be about eighteen or twenty, and she still had a long way to go, he thought.
