CHAPTER 13. The Decisions We Make.

It had been two weeks after the yacht cruise and Damion was now very comfortable with his family. He spoke with Bella over the phone every night after studying and his grandfather was not left out either.

The old man doted on his grandson more than his health. It seemed like he was determined to make up for the 19 years he had missed in Damion’s life by spoiling him silly, not like Damion had any issue with that anyway.

Damion was on his way to deliver a pizza on his new bike when he saw Maliya and her new boyfriend coming out from a restaurant ahead of him. He immediately looked forward and tried to pedal away to avoid them but Maliya had already seen him.

She moved to the front of the bike and he had no choice but to stop. He had been so caught up with the revelation of his newfound family and studying for his exams that he had not thought about her for a while.
