It was evening in the penthouse suite, the sun shone on it, bathing the spacious living room in a golden hue. Damion sat on the plush sofa, his fingers absentmindedly drumming against the armrest as he awaited Bianca's return.

The sound of the front door opening snapped him out of his reverie, and he rose to his feet as Bianca entered, her expression unreadable.
