Chapter 9. Meeting The Family.

Damion jumped off the couch where he was sitting. He massaged his forehead as he paced around his grandfather’s office.

He was so in a hurry this morning to get out of the house and come to Lance Towers because of his curiosity that he had forgotten about the most pressing issue in his life at the moment.

As he paced around, his cousin approached and tapped him on the shoulder, mouthing ‘what happened?’ to him but he just shook his head and walked out of the office.

He was glad he finally had a family, people that will care for him no matter what. It felt nice actually but he didn’t want them all up in his business. At least, they hadn’t reached that stage yet.

“I’ll be right there, Daniel. Thanks for calling to notify me,” he finally replied to his friend on the phone and hung up.

He walked back to the office and just when he was about to open the door, he sighed. This whole situation felt like a fairytale and he still felt awkward and out of place around them.
