The situation in the big van was exceptionally apprehensive, all eyes were on one device; the laptop in front of them. Damon's eyes were so focused on the laptop that they didn't even blink much, his heart pounded furiously against his ribcage. They'd successfully escaped from the fortress but the virus that was meant to affect the system was yet to be completed. When Athena had told him about the system alert if she introduced the virus to it, he was alarmed. If the system alarms them, they'll be in great danger, and escaping would become a mirage.
