"Sorry, Anthony." He muttered and pulled the trigger.

The sound bang was the next thing everyone heard and they stood frozen.

Damon looked at the gun that had just fired a bullet, mist dancing at the muzzle of the gun and he inhaled it.

God, he's getting addicted to the smell.

He looked in the direction Anthony was kneeling with a frown on his face, Anthony's expression radiates shock and fear at the same time and that's what he loves to see.

He looked down at the hole his bullet had created just a few inches from where Anthony was kneeling.

Damon's eyes trail from the shocked Anthony to the men standing a few feet away from him and there could be nothing better or satisfying seeing the confused expression on their faces.

A goal well attained.

Killing Anthony would give him the ruthless image he needs but not killing him gives him something much greater and that's what he desires. He doesn't want the men to only fear him, he wants their respect as well and he shall earn it.
