The scenery, environment, and everything had changed the moment Asura opened his eyes.
The first observation he had made was him himself. His attire had changed! Looking down at what he wore, he was now in a plain black garment, and on his head was a circular Brown hat on him. This hat was usually worn by farmers or wanderers. And again was a slightly transparent veil around his face. Only his eyes were seen properly.
As he marveled at his code of dressing now, he couldn't help but look around at the busy market environment where he was and looking behind him saw Kai who stood too, their back against each other as they faced opposite each other as if about to fight.
"Senior?. Is that you?"He asked, turning properly to have a good look at Kai whose only change was in his attire which was also black and plain like Asura's outfit.
Kai looked down at himself as he ran his hands through his clothes, feeling Them. He didn't say anyth
Asura walked into the prison room along with Kai as the Soldier locked up the prison room and then left. Asura stood there watching Kai sit down on the floor and leaning against the wall" Why did we have to come in here? We didn't do anything" Asura pointed out. "Don't act rashly without knowing the situation..." Kai looked up at him "It's a lesson you can learn now" He said "Besides, what are you going to do then? Fight them? Come on we know your skills are as terrible as a 10-year-old mortal" Kai teased leaning his head back to rest awhile. Asura sighed as he too took a seat beside Kai and also Leaned backward. Tired of the hat, he pulled it off and unveiled himself "I don't even know what all this clothing is all about" He kept the hat and veil beside him and looked at Kai who had his eyes closed. "Hey... senior..do you perhaps know what happened?" He asked. But Kai said nothing. His eyes were still closed and he made no mov
Asura blinked, looking at Kai surprised and confused" Huh? Senior...what are you talking about?" He asked. "Yeah...You heard it right"Kai said closing his eyes and looking up. "But...how can we be that? We don't even know anything about it...Or what's happening or anything.. how can we act like one?" Kai sighed "Just follow my lead...and it'll be fine. All you have to do is always put your veil on. I think that'll have an important role" He explained. Asura was simply shocked as he watched Kai close his eyes peacefully. He couldn't understand anything that was happening here. And why was Kai requesting they play along to this? Did he have any plan to execute? An ace up his sleeve? With nothing to make of it, he decided to trust Kai and do as he said without any objections. ***** In the royal chamber of the palace, a young man lay Sick and unconscious on his bed.
Kai got up from where he stood and then dusted himself slightly. He looked down at Asura who still sat there with his Hat and Veil on. He stretched out his hands to him, offering him a hand up. Asura hesitated but took his hands allowing Kai to help him up to his feet. "Hurry up! the king's waiting" The guard snapped at them as Kai led the way. He walked out of the prison as Asura slowly followed behind, calmly and solemnly. When both of them were out, the guard locked the prison doors and then led them on to where he wanted them to go. They had strolled through the palace's environment and then the guard led them to the Royal Chamber, where they were to meet his highness. Kai seemed calm, with his dim blue and alluring eyes and his fan majestically running through his face, he looked like a noble immortal. While Asura on the other hand was seemed panicked even beneath his veil and hat. He knew he sh
"So what Is it you're trying to say?" The Royal highness asked, Looking at Kai with fixed attention. Kai smiled, running the fan through his face "What If I told you, your highness, That we hadn't intended to escape...But rather Wanted to find another way to Cure your son?" He questioned. "Rubbish!" A man snapped. "How can you use such an Excuse! Everyone knows your plots so you can't cover up with that!" He went further. The royal highness was quiet looking at Kai. He then raised his hand to keep the official quiet "So...what are you trying to say?" Kai hesitated and then continued" It's simple...If you're willing to hear me out. The fact is that... actually, we do know that we made your son's case worse. But we had a reason...if we do not do that...How can we know what's truly wrong with him?" "Your highness! Don't listen to his rubbish!" An official refused. &nbs
Asura looked at the Classic painting of lotus flowers and white lilies in the snowy mountains. The drawing was exquisite and Well done! Asura brought his eyes to the side where a saying was inscribed vertically... "The flower blossoms in winter soon, my heart waves with numb thoughts too..." He read it out as Kai heard it. Now he seemed to be certain of what he was thinking. But he couldn't say anything. He sighed and withdrew. "What's wrong?" Asura asked, looking at Kai. "Nothing..." He said.." Let's go" "Hurry up you two!" The guard urged as the two young men followed behind. They finally arrived at their room as the man pushed open the door "In here...you two are gonna reside here. Make yourself comfortable and wait for a message from the Royal majesty" He said as he turned and left them. Asura and Kai
"Your highness! kill me other than taking this decision!" The old man cried out falling on his feet before the heavenly emperor and bowing in totality to him. "Hear me out, your highness! Please rethink your decision! Don't do this!" The Heavenly emperor still maintained a firm expression that didn't seem to be paying attention to the pleading. The god of war said nothing but Knelt there quietly. "In an extreme situation like this, all I do is for the benefit of the three realms. I'm doing this to protect them from the evil that is coming" He justified his action. "But your highness! We both know the consequences of what you're about to do!" The old man pointed out. " If you insist on doing this...Then the fate of many lowly mortals is put in danger...Lives will be lost...This is not right your highness!" He cried out. "Is it better to relax and watch the evil come back? Then dominate mankind again? Is that the be
"Senior!" Asura called from below the mansion after sighting Kai on it. He waved his hands up at him with the beef in his hands. He wondered if Kai could even see him. Kai looked down towards the direction of the familiar voice calling and said nothing. "Senior! what are you doing up there?" Asura asked, still looking up at the rooftop. "It's night. and you're being noisy. you're disturbing those who want to sleep" Kai finally said, Looking up at the sky. Now he couldn't hear and feel what he felt before. Asura had certainly distracted him. "Oh...You must be enjoying the night view. Can I join you?" Asura asked. "If you can come up here" Kai simply replied after he couldn't get back to what he felt and heard. Asura paused, looking around. There were no ladders or supports to aid him in climbing up. and this left him with only one choice. Flying up. He knew he still
Asura looked at Kai with surprise and confusion. The statement he had heard from him was confusing but he did hear it after all. "What do you mean?" He confirmed from Kai who was looking up at the sky "What are you trying to imply?" He had heard what Kai Said but wanted to confirm. Kai sighed, looking up at the sky "You know what? It's of no importance telling you..." "No...I want to know. I'm curious" Asura interrupted, curiously. "Well, let's just say that I saw something that I wasn't supposed to see, what I saw and experienced..... Was something that once you saw, you were bonded to stay...never to leave and speak of what you saw and experienced...It was against the rule...So... To leave this place, And to not compare of what I saw with here...This was the only way...My sight" Asura watched him explain, confused. The story was pretty much clear and vivid, But the thing there
