It was as if they were all plunged into horrifying nightmares, something that wished to wake up from when they heard the dying throes of a little girl. Since they weren't that many, many of them knew others at some point. As such, the reality before them was too cruel for them to see, with half of the rangers filled with rage and hatred.
The worst of them was the big brother of the young girl. It's as if he saw the sky crashing down to him, his gaze almost devoid of life. He wanted to move, to rush forward and mutilate the human who dared to do that. Yet, he found out his boundless anger and strength from before had dissipated the second he found that little body falling to the ground, breathing her last while her face was covered in bloody wounds.
