Jack's voice was weak and raspy as he recalled the previous events that had taken place.

"When I approached the recruits, they were not in the midst of being attacked by any beast. They had already escaped the danger." It surprised me that none of the monsters in the area had attacked them, so I decided against approaching them and instead waited for the creatures to battle them so that they might gain experience from the conflict.

"When something finally approached them, I was taken aback because I sensed a powerful presence that belonged to a class five beast from it; the beast was a silverback ape," he said.

When I had this realization, I realized that the reason why the weaker beast did not approach the recruits was because they must have been marked by this very class 5 beast.
