After making it back to his room, Lucian considered the possibility of merely changing into clean clothes but eventually chose not to do so. He was patient enough to hold out! After retrieving a clean change of clothes, he proceeded to the restroom in order to clean himself up. He had arrived at the conclusion that it was time for another first, which was for him to take a bath by himself. He thought this would be an exciting experience for him.

While Lucian was in his underpants in the bathtub, he filled it up with water and reveled in the sensation of being submerged entirely in the liquid. He scrubbed down with a bar of soap that he found in his desk, and while he was doing so, he scowled at the abrasive quality of the soap. On his list of things to invent, the production of soap had to come first because it was an absolute necessity.
