A startling juxtaposition to Lucian's fair skin, dark hair, and blue eyes. It was clear that he had ripped up his body because he could feel the robust muscle beneath his fingers. This was evidence that he had been working out.

"Just so you know, the first day of class is in four days," the teacher said.

As they made their way out into the bright daylight,Lucian said to himself, "Good to know," and continued on with their journey. He had a hazy memory of Jason telling the receptionist guy that if anyone else came in to be tested, they should have someone sent to the library to check for them if there were any more people who came in to be tested.

" Jason had seen Lucian come outside and had gone over to greet him, but it wasn't until after they had shaken hands that Lucian realized he was still holding onto Samson's arm. Due to the fact that Lucian was confused by the proximity of the two of them, he kept his silence for a short while.
