The tension in the atmosphere could be cut with a knife, it was very intense.

David noticed this, but not a word left his mouth.

He looked from one woman to the other, he was feeling like a matchmaker now.

"Lilian, is this really you?" Willow asked.

Lilian laughed nervously as she patted her hair.

"Hey, Willow, it's a surprise to meet you."

David took this to be a sign for him to leave, he had done his work here.

"I am going to leave you guys to catch up, I have things to do." He walked to the door.

He brushed past Lilian, but before he went through the door, she stopped him.

"Thank you." She said in the lowest voice she could use.

He gave her a very slight smile and shut the door behind him.

Now it was just two of them and it seems like the tension doubled.

It was obvious that neither of them knew what to do.

Lilian decided to take the lead, she took one step forward and said. "I've missed you-"
