Huno growled slightly. It was dark and he could barely see.

“Are you alright?”

Elta’s voice sounded beside him. Huno sat up and realized he wasn’t on the ground but on a bed. “Yeah, I’m good,”

“Kiri told me everything, I’m sorry,” Elta said.

“For? Come on sweetie, I won’t be stuck in this realm forever,” Huno said, forcing a smile.

“I really hope so,” Elta muttered, her gaze wavering as look him in the eye. She knew what it meant to fail a baptism.

Huno pulled her closed and kissed her. “Relax, I found a way, twice before, I will find a way now,” he reassured her.

“Where are we?”

“In Hacel. By the way, little Ya has been worried about you. She has been worried sick for the past seven months,”

“They are handling something, somewhere in Hacel,” Elta said.
