~Third Patriarch~

~A Month Later~

  'Seriously, isn't it time to go out?' Chiro asked again for the unknown amount of time. 'I told you we would when the array is done. You keep cultivating,' Huno said. 'Cultivation is boring. Right now I'm a child who has been locked up all his life and finally freed. I'm out now and you want me to cultivate. Come on,' Chiro said. 'Yes, I have a question for you,' Huno said. 'What?' Chiro asked. 'Do you think it's possible to bring a part of that place out?' Huno asked. 'I don't think so. Why do you ask?' Chiro asked.

 

'I don't have your absorbing ability and may not have it, but what if I use that place as a medium?' Huno replied. 'Oh, but I don't think that will be possible. Taking a part will most likely damage it,' Chiro said. 'Wait, what if you get the sand in there? They are a part of that place and are removable, but that way there's a problem of needing large quantities and I think other problems will arise, can we leave all these for when you are stronger, your current strength make things really hard,' Chiro lamented. 'That's why I need you to cultivate. Your cultivation speed will be faster than mine, so if you're strong we may do a lot,' Huno said. 'Just imagine you being in my body when I activate my zone. You can turn the entire zone into an absorbing field,' Huno added.

 

   Both of them stared at each other. 'let's try it with the new zone,' Chiro said and entered Huno's body before Huno replied. Huno breathed in and out, circulate his energy and activated his new zone. During the one month Huno could create a new zone based on the old one. The new one was much easier and it could last longer. Immediately he activated the zone. A big circle appeared under his feet, also covering the whole room. The left side of the circle was black, and the right was white and chilly.

 

   'Alright begin,' Huno said. Chiro urge his strength and spread it through the zone. The zone absorbed the Qi energy from the Qi stones within the zone at a quick speed. Huno directed the energy into his body immediately. 'This is good for cultivation,' he said. 'Yeah, too bad we can't last long in this state,' Chiro said. 'Yeah, but thirty minutes a day is still helpful. The only setback is that the five minutes of drowsiness afterwards, in a battle it could be death,' Huno said.

 

They found out that in the outside world after they merge they both become extremely tired but while Chiro experience normal tiredness from exhaustion Huno falls asleep.

 

Technically, he is awake and aware of his surrounding but he is so tired he becomes unable to think until after he rests. Resulting in him being unable to move. The longer the merge, the longer the sleep time, and the same is the case for the opposite. After several tries they found out if they merge for thirty minutes Huno will be tired for about five minutes but not so tired he can't think, though his think is slow. They also found out entering that sleep state twice a day affects Huno's thinking. One time, after coming out of the sleep state the second time that day, Huno was basically a dummy for a long while. So Huno and Chiro agreed on for thirty minutes for a whole day.

 

   'Alright come out,' Huno said and Chiro stepped out. 'Oh, you got an opening,' Huno added. Chiro checked and found that he got another opening in his core. 'Whatever, I'm not interested in cultivating. I'm only interested in going out, seeing Luna and the others,' Chiro said. 'Do you think Luna will like you when she finds out you locked her up?' Huno said. 'That's what I'm worried about,' Chiro replied. 'She may even want to kill me, though I know you won't let her do that, but you'll definitely let her give me a beating,' he added. 'Hehe good, so stay here and cultivate or else she'll be beating you every day,' Huno said. 'Meanie, using your wife to scare someone,' Chiro said. Huno couldn't help laughing as he said, 'but I don't need her to deal with you. We both know that,'. 'Whatever,' Chiro yelled.

 

   There was a knock on the door at this moment. Both of them turned, and Chiro had a crazy smile on his face. After the knock, the door opened and four people stood in front of it.

 

   'Senior brother, time to come out,'. 'Brother I need more Qi stones,'. 'Husband, time to come out,'.

 

Three of the four yelled, but immediately became quiet. What they saw in the room startled them. There were two Hunos, one had black hair and one had white.

 

   'Junior sisters, junior brother, are you guys seeing what I am seeing?' Lee Wei asked. 'Big brother I am, same face and even slightly same aura,' Xue Li said. Luna frowned and then said, 'someone wants to impersonate husband,'.

 

    'Not good,' Chiro shouted. Immediately Luna's energy level rose as she stared at Chiro with great hatred. Huno laughed and waved his hand to tell Luna not to attack. 'He is not an imposter. He is my clone,' Huno said.

 

'Clone!' Lee Wei and Xue Li yelled while Luna's energy level dropped. 'Senior brother, how did you do it?' Xue Li asked as they all walked over to Chiro. 'I didn't do it, it just happened by accident, Chiro explain to them,' Huno said. 'Yes, yes,' Chiro said and put his finger on Xue Li and Lee Wei's head passing a lot of information to them.

 

After which he did the same for Luna and Ma Lie. 'I see, that's nice!' Lee Wei said. 'It's a good thing,' Xue Li said and turned to Chiro. 'You should run, junior sister and I will give you a five seconds' head start,' she said while circulating her qi. Luna's energy level slowly began to rise and Chiro turned cold with fear. He turned to Huno, who was laughing and gave him a pleading look. 

 

   'It seems you have made an enemy of junior sister also,' Huno said and Lee Wei started laughing. 'Senior brother, please I promise we won't kill him, we'll just teach him a lesson,' Xue Li said.

 

'Well, I'll plead on his behalf. He is innocent, but if you insist, then please wait until he has gotten to the same realm as I am. He can take as much beating as you want to give,' Huno said. Xue Li and Luna stared at Chiro and smiled happily and devilishly. 'Senior sisters, please forgive me,' Chiro yelled. 'Senior sister! Haha I like that, I can be both Huno's junior sister and senior sister.' Luna clapped her hands and laughed like a little kid. Huno smiled wryly, feeling awkward but kept quiet. Luna turned to Xue Li, 'senior sister since he is so respectful let's forgive him, though once a while he can be a punching bag,' she said. 'I was thinking the same thing. You truly are my younger sister,' Xue Li hugged her and said.

 

   'Thank you, senior sisters,' Chiro said and cleaned his forehead. Lee Wei and Huno burst into laughter again. 'Brother, take me in. I need to cultivate. I ran out of Qi stones about three months ago,' Lee Wei said. 'Why didn't you come get more?' Huno said. 'Didn't want to disturb you,' Lee Wei said. 'Oh, right, what realm are you in now?'.

 

   'Sadly, I just entered the True realm,' Huno replied.

  'What?' everyone asked immediately.

  'I had a gain. The downside of that gain is my cultivation speed becomes three times slower than before,' Huno explained.

  'Oh, but is that gain worth it?' Lee Wei asked.

  'Yeah, I'm about three times stronger than one of the same realm, though this is just theory,' Huno replied.

   'Wow, that's worth it, okay take me in please,' Lee Wei said and walked to Luna, who held his hand. Huno used his divine sense to wrap Lee Wei and took him leaving Luna behind. Everyone except Chiro was shocked. Huno smiled and said, 'let's go, the array must be done right?'. 'Yes,' Xue Li replied. 'Let's go to our new home,' Chiro said happily. Everyone looked at him and laughed.

 

   All of them stepped out and went down the stairs. There, a crowd of people stood waiting. In front were Yu Chani, Su Qing, Kyra, Shin, Noelle, Endo, and behind them were people he didn't know. Before he could ask, everyone greeted, 'we have seen the second patriarch,'.

 

   'Oh I see,' Chiro, who was at the back, squeezed to the front and said. Yu Chani and the five others frowned upon seeing him and were lost for words. 'I'm his clone. You can call me the third patriarch,' Chiro said after seeing their faces. Immediately everyone greeted, 'we have seen the third patriarch,'. Huno looked at Chiro and didn't know what to do. He just smiled wryly and looked at the people around.

 

   'I have seen you all, I'll send you to a place later, please you all wait for me outside, the six of you come with me,' Huno said looking at those at the front. 'Junior sister, please come also. The both of you can get to know Chiro,' he added and walked to the main hall. Those he called followed quickly after him.
