"Will, can we talk?"

After that self-deprecating sentence escaped his lips, Dravon closed his eyes. He moved away from Will's room door and leaned his back against the wall. Unconsciously, his soaked clothes from the rain had already dampened the thick carpet on the wall.

"Your Highness..." A maid approached him with a concerned expression. Dravon glanced at the young girl and realized she held a neatly folded white towel in her hands. Wearily, Dravon accepted the towel immediately, though he didn't use it right away.

"Thank you," Dravon said to the young maid. She still stood patiently in the corridor of Duke Zephyr's manor, and it seemed the maid had no intention of leaving due to Dravon's stubborn attitude.

"Your Highness," the maid touched Dravon's wet shoulder. "Please understand that Master Will is grieving. He doesn't wish to see anyone today, including us servants."
