016 - Shattering His Pride

Everyone knows it was a vicious foul, a deliberate one with the intention to hurt someone. But no one blows the whistle.

Dean can even hear Tiana’s shouting, giving Theo a congratulation for what that big dude did to him.

“That’s what you get for letting a weakling like him play,” Theo sneers with a satisfied smile. “Hey, Marcus! Take that boy out of the court already.”

Dean gets up, feeling some pain in his back. He just walks out while rubbing his neck.

Somehow, it only takes about 15 seconds, before all the pain in his body is gone. But he doesn’t care about the pain in the slightest bit.

He sits on the bench, with steady breathing, flat face, but eyes so cold like a death fish’s eyes. There’s no emotion in his facial expression. But inside his head, he keeps imagining, what if he were a superhero with a superpower.

His clenched fists keep shaking a bit for every time he pummels Theo’s face inside his head. Until at some point, he starts thinking, he could just do it in realit
