“What an exciting atmosphere we have in the air today”.

“The finals of the National High School Relay Race Competitions”.

“This is the day that all high school students have been waiting for since the beginning of this term. It promises to end this term on an incredibly high note”.

“Today, we have 8 prominent high school teams competing for the prices”.

“On the yellow jerseys is the team from the Jacobian High School, the 2nd runners up in last year’s National Relay Competitions”.

“On the blue jerseys are the students from the Elite High School”.

“On the pink jerseys are those from the Trailblazers Academy”.

“On the white jerseys is St. Paul’s High School”.

“On the green jerseys is St. Jeremiah’s High School”.

“On the red jerseys is the Regent High School”.

“On black jerseys are those from Oakland International”.

“As for those in the iconic purple jerseys, they are our 2 times relay race winners and current holders of the relay cup, the inevitable Lions from Landmark Academy who many believe are the favorites once again”.

“That’s him on the 4th lap, the high school legend himself, Donald Clinton”.

With his iconic funky styled blonde hair, the handsome and athletic 18-year-old high school celebrity waved at the spectators. The girls were going crazy.

“Woah, he waved at me!”

“Someone pinch me, I’m gonna die!”

“I love you Clinton!”

“I’m ready to bear your kids!”

“I want to marry you Clinton!”

He had a gentle and relaxed smile on his face like this race was going to be a work over as he waved at his fans, basking in the attention that he was getting.

Seeing the attention that he was receiving, the tall boy wearing yellow jersey in the 4th lap came to meet him. “You won’t be smiling at the end of the race”.

Clinton looked at him. “Interesting, I’ll see who can remove my smile”.

“I can, and I will!”

“Nice spirit, I love it, I’ll like to see you try”. He smirked confidently.

After much fanfare, the race was finally about to start.

“Wow! They are all fully ready for the race!”

“The field is clear and the tracks are set!”

A loud voice reverberated through the speakers. “On your marks!”

Those in the first lap went on their knees.

“Get set!”

“GO!”

The race started!

Bam! Bam! Bam!

The sounds of their feet hitting the track reverberated in a rhythmic manner amid the loud sound of cheers and screams from the spectator stands.

The whole stadium seemed to be on fire.

Landmark Academy started in the first lane, so the boy representing them started behind all the others but before he handed over the baton to his colleague in the second lane, he was able to dig his way to 5th position.

“And he’s handed the baton over, the race’s intensity increases!”

Bam! Bam!

Feet hit the track with intensity amid heavy breathing.

By the 3rd lane, Landmark Academy was already in 4th position. By the time that they got to the 4th lane, they were in 3rd position, 2 positions from the highest price but it didn’t matter as the cheers rose up a crescendo.

“Clinton!” “Clinton!” “Clinton!”

Clinton felt adrenaline flood him as soon as his hands touched the baton.

Looking ahead, only 2 players were ahead of him, one on the familiar yellow jersey and the other on a surprising black jersey.

Clinton didn’t care though. ‘It’s my time to shine!’

He dug in!

Bam! Bam! Bam!

For those first few seconds as he moved, dust erupted from the track due to his rapid feet as he started on a high. He pursued the boy in black, overtaking him in less than 5 seconds as he chased after the boy in yellow.

“Can he do it?”

“Can he do it?!” The commentator was going crazy.

“And yes, he does it!”

At the last few seconds, Clinton overtook the boy in yellow.

The stadium roared to life!

Cheers blasted everywhere as he got to the finish line, finishing the competition on a high and making Landmark Academy 3-peat champions.

The roars of the fans mixed with the wild screams of the commentator.

Cheerleading girls flocked Clinton, hugging him, kissing him, and heaping him with praise. Unfortunately, one of these cheerleading girls was the girlfriend of the boy who spoke to Clinton and was wearing the yellow jersey.

It happened so fast, before he could understand, he was already hit.

BAM!

The angry boy punched him on the back of his head.

Instantly, Clinton felt dizzy and breathless. He did not survive it, he died.

Blink!

Clinton woke up to see white light everywhere. “Where am I?”

“You are now before judgement”. A female voice reverberated.

Shocked, Clinton raised his head to look at her. She was an angel like depicted in books, with gigantic wings and an extremely cute face.

She had a huge book and on it’s cover had ‘Clinton’ written in bold.

“Stand before judgement as I read out your sins and your sentence”.

“…” Clinton was speechless, he could only look on as she continued.

“For being an arrogant prick, a womanizer who slept without remorse with your mate’s girlfriends, and for 999+ other sins that you have committed, you have been sentenced to life outside hell”.

“Hell is too good for you, you need to live another life, one more hellish than hell”.

“You have been sentenced to lifetime imprisonment in Planet #2122 as a low-tier undead in a Dungeon”.

By the time she looked through all his sins, this female angel was already so angry and pissed that her face was flushed. With hands shaking in anger, she picked the divine pen and started signing to seal his fate.

“P-please, spare me…” Clinton’s eyes widened in horror as the realization of his situation finally started settling in his mind.

“Spare me!”

Looking at the judgment book angrily, she saw the place where undead was written and without even thinking, the angry angel signed it.

“I condemn you to this prison you damned soul!”

Clinton only had time to catch a glimpse at the judgement book one last time, at where she signed.

>Miserable Undead…<

He could not see the rest part.

“Spare me…”

Clinton’s soul was booted to a long distant planet.

It rose like the fang of a forgotten god, piercing the sky, forged from ancient obsidian laced with pulsing crimson veins of raw, condensed mana.It towered high above them, wide enough to let a dragon pass, tall enough to block the sun. Symbols etched in a dead language that burned to be looked upon slithered across its surface, never still, always shifting. The earth beneath their feet vibrated in tandem with its heartbeat. This was the threshold to the third level of the Dark World of the Dungeon of Azarick, the gateway of the Monster Domain.Clinton stumbled first into the clearing, skeletal frame rattling with every despe
