I discovered that Simon did not survive the zombies that day. While he was pushing away the zombie, it accidentally bit his hand, causing him to be infected with the virus, and he became a terrifying monster like them. But the only thing that was different about him was that his thinking, walking, moving and speaking were still normal. His instinct and hearing just sharpened. He had a unique strength where he could not be killed immediately with just one bullet, or even hit him several times in different parts of his body. He didn't expect that to happen, and even I couldn't believe what I discovered about him. Furthermore, he chose to hide it from us because he was afraid that we might treat him differently, and we might stay away from him.
