“It cannot be.” I whispered to myself as I looked behind me to see where the people were. I immediately ran towards them to protect them, but it was too late because the bus crashed into it quickly and fell into the bottom of the river. I got up and sat down while I was still stunned that I still couldn't believe the speed of events. I looked up at the sky for a moment when I heard the passing of a helicopter, and suddenly, it occurred to me that if I hadn't let them board our bus that day, there was hope that the people on that helicopter could have rescued them and there was a chance they are all still alive today and reached their destination.
