Obsession

For lack or insufficient evidence, Hunter was not incarcerated. Instead, his case became close, and he was found not guilty. His father was very disappointed to found out that his son would not be imprisoned and that he had passed the crime he had committed.

Hunter's father, George, went straight to the office and immediately sat in his swivel chair with his head bowed and held to his forehead.

He thought that Hunter would be imprisoned and that he would be free to meet Lisa. But he did not expect that despite the false evidence he admitted against him, he was still able to get through his case. While he was deep in thought, he suddenly looked up when the door opened and Hunter entered.

“What's the matter? Why do you seem so disappointed? Aren't you happy that my case was a success, and I wasn't jailed?” The young man bluntly said to him with a mischievous smile on his lips. George stood up and just forced a smile on his lips as he looked at his bookshelves.
