Buratia Outskirts, Northern Continents, Earth *** Startled, every military officer in the outpost also raised their guns toward the group. Sho, Dreygo, Viriel, and Elaine, raised their hands in the air. Dreygo’s heart started to thump hard, not for his safety but for Elaine’s. Heavy perspiration had loomed on his forehead, leaking down to his cheeks. Even with the cold wind, he felt wary and agitated. He was ready to attack them, planning to snap their necks instantly to give them no time for retaliation. He replayed several scenarios in his mind and the urge was strong to execute. Buratia Outskirts, Earth *** “You stay here, Elaine,” Dreygo whispered. Their position was still concealed by the policemen. Dreygo crawled from the side, still hidden from their enemy’s vantage points until he reached farther away from Elaine and stood up with his hands in the air, revealing himself to them. “I am here. What do you want? What happened to my comrades?” Dreygo asked as he was nearing them. The two policemen had their weapons drawn toward the Demon. “Come with us peacefully if you want your friends alive.” One policeman said. Then he knew that Viriel was in trouble. He suspected right, Lust must have brought weapons that could hurt celestial beings such as angels and even gods, like the material used in his Ferrum Minus and the Death sword. They went back to the diner with the two policemen behind them and arrived at the bar, which used to be a bar, but now it was blown into chaotic clutter, destroyed after the policemen sprayed bullets and after Viriel’s skirmis

Metals clanking as the chosen demons who wore war armor and with their respective weapons, swords, axes, spears, and the like, with their shields were now heaving the center of the clearing. They were mentally energizing not only themselves but also the crowd, making the festivities more entertaining. Dreygo saw them as warriors, or the courageous ones. But he knew, hidden in them was fear for they were facing the most favored Harbinger of Lith. Fighting these aspiring demon warriors was just like a walk in the park. He remembered this day. It was his first Muerto Festival. He seemed to know what to do and the proceedings of the festival. He saw all the menacing eyes looking at him from the sea of crowd, waiting for him to come down from the rock where he stood or a pedestal of some sort.
