My movements where weaker than usual, I had been regaining demon power and that was physically exhausting, even when it's done in sleep,

After wobbling down the stairs, a demonic blocking force threw me of my feet and my body was caught by the hard wood floor

" Where do you think your going " I husky voice asked, stepping over me

" To have a bit " I quietly grumbled

The guy who stood over me was al least twenty with a dark aura, that matched Victor's just a lot stronger

" Wait are you related to victor?" I asked trying to get up but was instantly stumped on

His heavy foot pressed my chest on the ground as a evil smirk curved it's way on his face

" Are you the brat that shaved my brother's head?" he answered with a question

" Yeah, why ?"

Victor losing all body hair was one effect of hell abyss' heat, he should be bold for now, not even eye brows should be left, I hoped that would bring out his father but instead it brought out another idiot

" Good, " he said kicking me in my face " I have brought you a gift "

he replied driving his sword through wooden floor cutting ear in the process after which he stepped back and grabbed another

I held my bleeding ear and slowly got on my feet using the sword he left behind as my support

" I was told to kill you on sight but where is the fun in that, so am giving you a chance, beat me in battle and you live, fail and I will die " he offered spinning the other sword, " And the entire school should watch this " he added casting a projection spell

"Duel, Xavier Zeno and Cole Donatus" a monotonous voice announced creating big screen all around the academy for everyone to watch,

dueling was a normal practice in the school as long as both side accept to the conditions set.

" we fight till submission or death, if I win I will kill you as an example to all you useless hybrids showing them who is the boss " he said " and I will kill the girl too "

" I accept your terms " I breathed barely able to stand on my feet, I needed something to eat soon if not I would pass out

" but if I win, i want to fight your father, am tied of this child's play " I said his smile grew even bigger hearing those words

' so either way he dies, if he somehow kills me, then dad will just end up slaughtering this little brat, but that won't happen because I won't lose ' Xavier thought and chuckled " I accept but know that this face will be the last you see "

" Who is the Cole guy ?" a girl asked but got no answer everyone knew the Zeno family but the Donatus name sounded unfamiliar

" Cole , " Eleanor covered her mouth she was in the old library with everyone else when the screens popped up, even though she knew that when I lose she would also be dead she could careless, she heart was scared it's bloody mind for Cole, the rest of the group just watched in fear already knowing the end results the only person with dauhts was Yasmine who could get the name Donatus out of her mind

The environment in the classroom changed to the school arena, a Colosseum like building built in black stones, enough seating for all students in the school three times over, the building is built as a training ground and for practicing of new spells and perfect suited for the duel, I so happened to pass it when I was looking for the library, Xavier looked around suprised they teleported as it was his first time

' It must be the teachers work, but this puts me at an even bigger advantage, I should finish this in a blink ' he thought

A lightening red flame sparked in his eyes his grip on the sword tightened

" Heavenly Demon technique speed Demon " he cursed and accelerated his body moving faster than sound creating a supersonic shook waves that cut through the air, everyone watching only heard the booming sound and saw his body reapear on the other side his sword clean, demon speed would never get a sword wet with blood it's makes a clean cut that even the opponent wouldn't see coming,

He turned his sword up ready to put it in the sheath when he heard a sleepy yawn

" huh, I thought it was a fight until submission, why are you keeping your sword "l questioned my voice still holding the essences of sleep

Xavier skin went white on sight, his pupils twitched uncontrollably as he turned, to see me standing unharmed, " What, you look like you have seen a ghost " I asked but the shook in his face only increased " Ow, hasn't any one ever dodged Speed demon slash ?" I asked

Sweat formed on his forehead head, ' no way did he dodge it, it can't be, even if he can use the same move there was no chance that he could dodge my strike,' Xavier staggered a horrified but mesmerized look in his shaking violently in his face

" to be frank with you your speed Demon slash was a little slow " i explained trying to pull the sword from the ground

"Slow !" he exclaimed unable to move

" Yeah " I answered and cursed 'damnit,' all my physical energy had been converted to demonic energy until nothing is left I couldnt even pull the sword from the ground ' Shit now how will we have a fair fight '

" you will pay for calling the speed of the demon lord slow " Xavier snapped and came back with different strikes all at speed demon speed but each strike missing it target, everyone the watching could only see a golf blur dashing from one end to the other of the screen, even the teacher would only see Xavier I still appeared as a white blur in their eyes, my speed was too fast even for their eyes to see

" The demon lord's speed I see " I responded after his twenty fifth strike

" Haaa!" he made another missed strike ending up on the other side of the stage

" So your fraud demon lord couldn't even learn a simple strike " I said

hearing me call his lord a fraud Xavier snapped his body boiled all the power he had in burst and a gold flash was seen on the screen, Xavier speed went faster than it had ever, that strike took all his energy but also did the trick Xavier's sword went through my back in a speed worthly of the named a demon speed , a smile criped up my face, the energy in his sword was mild because his body was drained but that didn't matter as the sword had gone all the way through my body

" Now that's a true heavenly Demon technique " I praised,

Xavier's eyes widened in shock he had never moved at such a speed, his body didn't even feel like it moved, it felt like it had been ripped apart from the position where he stood and re-formed I another, no sound was produced , he felt no air resistance and as he moved the entire world seemed to stop and change color to bright shades of purples and oranges

His heart couldn't stop pounding even after that it felt great, that speed felt addictive, he wanted to do it again when my voice intrupted

" Okay lesson time is done " I snapped my finger and his body exploded
