Chapter 23: Unveiling Shadows

"So, this is what has become of this part of the camp." Ge Dao said to himself, "It has become as pathetic as a refugee site." Most of the tents at the site were shut off completely; it was almost like the settlers didn't wish to leave their tents unless absolutely necessary.

"There must be someone who I can ask for guidance." Ge Dao was at a complete loss for where to start looking. He continued to walk around the area in hopes of finding someone who could help him find the tent Li Zhao was residing in. The hunt went on till he discovered a man cautiously coming out of one of the tents. Ge Dao cautiously crept up on him to avoid rousing him out.

What an unusual man! Ge Dao said to himself, 'Why would an individual be moving so secretively in the midst of the day?' The individual in issue was obviously weak and fragile in shape, and he appeared to be close to eighty years old. In addition, he was exhausted from keeping quiet as much as possible.
