53. Agreement

The group struck in a daze hearing Cecilia’s determination. Despite knowing the risk she would face. It starts to get awfully late, so the group might be a wearied down. So Devon suggests considering this tomorrow morning instead.

“We will put that into consideration. For now, let’s all of us rest. It’s getting awfully late and I’m sure all of us are rather tired. We can continue this conversation tomorrow.” The group agrees, and went to their respective room to rest.

Devon in his bed is pondering about accepting Cecilia’s deal, or tries to negotiate with her so he didn’t put her on a risk. He extends his hand to the ceiling, and reminiscing the time that Devon and Cecilia spent together that night. He could still imagine the warmth of Cecilia’s body as she embraces him.

His face blushes. He was thinking about a plan for Cecilia’s safety, but now his mind is just filled with pleasant memories of her. He perishes the thought and quickly went to sleep.
