83. Guardian

As Devon approached the chamber where Gesta was indulging in his sick fantasies, he felt his rage boiling over. He couldn't believe what he had witnessed and was determined to take revenge on Gesta for what he had done.

But that wasn’t the only reason that ignited the spark of rage blazing within Devon’s chest. He didn’t want to admit it, but seeing Gesta having his way with that poor girl reminded him of his sister’s tragic death. Each and every screams that echoed there, overshadowing the moanings and pleasure sounds made by other nobles, curdling his blood and sending him even further to the past that he didn’t want to remember.
