“Oh wow! What an ability?” Derick, Leah’s fellow representative fighter said. “An ability that makes you unable to use your ability? How did you survive through that?”

“Well I didn’t. I became unconscious too so I can only thank my little brother from somehow miraculously saving me.” Leah replied indifferently as usual.

However, after Derick heard Leah’s story his expression only became paler than usual, making him appear like a person sick from shock. Derick skin was naturally pale so his recent shock of making him paler than usual will immediately make anyone looking at him to misunderstand him.

After all, why wouldn’t he feel shocked? Leah had just confessed of actually losing during level two. Not only was the enemy able to negate her ability but he also beat her in combat! In short, Derick already felt a chill just from hearing about the enemy’s ability but he knew for a fact that it would take a whole lot than that to beat Leah and that was why he was so shocked.
