Chapter 139 : Denver Ricardo

Leo Ricardo carefully looked to see where Greg might be. The man said the farm was rundown but he apparently didn’t realized it was occupied with some homeless people. He turned to look where his sister was. He was relief when he noticed her coming back. She seemed to carry something that looks heavy. One last searching look for Greg before he quickly goes to help her.

“What do you have there?” he asked softly.

“I found this battery.” She carefully dropped it onto the ground. “Do you think we could use it?”

“Maybe.” Leo picked it up. “Let’s go. I found a place where we could be alone.”

The two slipped away from the rundown farmhouse. They were making their way towards the barren tree lines. They kept looking backwards to make certain no one follows or are watching them.
