Chapter 54: Denver Ricardo

Joslin Ricardo climbed from the car. She reached for the briefcase. It was lock which makes her feel uneasy. Her relationship with her mother has changed since Denver.

They never had much of a mother-daughter relationship but it was like she suddenly changed.

She square her shoulders before walking into the bar. Grant Wilson has been waiting for her. He place the two glasses of brandy in front of the two drunks that was permanently glued to the chairs.

"Hello..nothing shines more bright than a diamond." Grant said smiling.

"A diamond can be a devil." Joslin answered without returning his smile.

"Please follow me to my office." he comes from behind the counter going in the direction of the backdoor. He waited for her to walked past him. He had noticed the gun beside her body. He can see the look of displeasure.

The black SUV comes into view. Grant moved ahead opening the door. He waits for her to climbed in the back. He then step aside going back into the bar.
