The Library 2

  Immediately they heard the dismissal bell go, the six of them, without waiting for the bell to ring the second time, carried their bags and left the library, almost running out, as if they would be called back if they spent any more second. Each of them had fallen asleep at one point during the study session and had been asked to stand on the desk as a punishment for sleeping and were asked to run around a small space for a certain amount of time. The five hours they spent in there was in no way funny to them and was something they would not want to relive.

"Ahhh!" Imogen screamed her lungs out as they stepped out of the library, the punishment annoyed her mostly as she didn't have anything to do with the fight.

"Imogen, are you okay?" Kiara asked.

"Yes." She replied with a smile. "I am fine. Ahhhhh" She screamed again.

Zach laughed. "You are not in this alone Imogen, I didn't do anything also. Neither of us did, we all are here just because of Mrs. Two goodie shoes."

"Ha ha very funny." Kiara said and rolled her eyes. "You guys know I only did it for this annoying homo sapien here." She said and turned to look at him. "And surprisingly, he is also an ungrateful ass."

Dylan looked at all of them before stopping to rest his eyes on Kiara. "You don't mean me right? It wasn't me you called the ungrateful ass."

"Who else would it be if not you were?" Lawrence spoke. "We were given seven hours of detention because we were trying to save you from getting suspended or even expelled."

"We missed lunch break, lunch break." Zach stressed.

"I never asked any of you to do it, it was your decision so bear the outcome without any complaint." Dylan said.

"Is that all you have to say?" Lawrence asked.

"What else do you want me to say? If you are expecting a 'thank you' then forget it because you will never hear it from me." He said and turned his back on them as he began walking away and Lawrence made to rush him but was held back by Zach.

"That guy is very lucky I don't want to have any prison record on me because he would have been dead meat by now.

"Chill out Law, he is a jerk, we all know that, don't allow him to get to your head." Zach said as he patted his shoulder.

"I am sure I will fall sick in the middle of the night today." Ashley said with a sigh.

"Why? Did anything happen?" Kiara asked.

"I haven't taken my drugs since today."

"Wait you are on drugs?" Lawrence asked with furrowed brows. "And you didn't tell me, have you had anything since today? No? You are just to much Ashley. Come here." He took her by the hand.

"We have detention now, like right now." Imogen said.

"We will meet you there." He walked away pulling Ashley who was skipping behind him.

"She is lucky." Zach said and Kiara chuckled softly. "Well since we don't have anybody who is going to buy us food, let's head for the second detention."

"I am so glad it is just two hours." Kiara said. 

"Yeah, as if the time makes it any better." Imogen said as she rolled her eyes and began to leave leaving Zach and Kiara to follow her behind.

Some minutes after they had settled down in the detention room, Lawrence and Ashley came in with Lawrence carrying a bag.

"Tell me you have food in there." Imogen groaned as she saw the bag.

"Yeah, bought food for everyone. Burger." He added as he dropped the bag on Kiara's desk.

"You are a savior." Imogen said as she rushed to the bag to take her own share. "Don't worry I will take that." She said and collected the burger Kiara was giving to Dylan which he refused to take.

"I can't wait for this to be over." Imogen groaned and laid on her desk. "This will be the very last time I will take I friendship pact to heart, next time if you get into trouble you deal with it yourself." She said giving Kiara a mean look.

"How many times do you need me to apologize? I'm sorry, again. "We are lucky we just have two more hours to spend here, exercise patience, we will be out of here in no time."

"We are more lucky that the teachers are having a board meeting because we would have been stuck here with Mrs Kate." Zach said.

"Yeah, we should just enjoy the moment." Ashley said.

"So what fun thing are we going to do? Tell a story? Cus that actually the only thing we can do in this room."

"I just remembered something." Kiara said as her face lit up with excitement. "w

Everybody, bend down and look for a board with writing embedded in the wall." She said and started looking around.

"Wow Kiara, we said a fun thing and not work." Lawrence said.

"I know but trust me, you guys will be wowed by what you will see. The last time Dylan and me got detention, we found something very interesting."

"What are you doing?" Dylan asked giving Kiara a mean look. "Nobody said you should speak about that."

"Nobody said I shouldn't either." Kiara retorted.

"Okay, I am really interested in this, what is it we are looking for?" Lawrence asked.

"Forget it, it's nothing. Kiara, get back to your seat and don't speak about this again."

"Excuse me, I am already Interested so you guys are going to spill the beans." Imogen said and Lawrence raised a brow in support.

"There is nothing to talk about, just forget it." Dylan protested.

"Guys trust me, you would want to see this, find the board with writings on it." Kiara said and they all stood up to look for the board as they shifted the tables and chairs.

"Fine then, since you guys won't listen, I am just going to stand here and watch you, if anything happens, don't say I was here." He moved out of his seat and went to lean by the wall, as his back touched the wall, a loud creak was heard as the wall began opening.
