The bargain.

      In a  restaurant. 

"My husband shouldn't find me here."

Claire said looking around as though her husband had sprouted out of nowhere and was stalking her. 

The man seated before him on the dinner chair had a smile tugging at the side of his lips as he said,

"Because this is a low budget place and below your standard?"

She scoffed and shot back at him,

     "Don't be ridiculous, Dave. Even though you don't know my husband like I know him. At least, the little time you spent with him that day should leave and imprint on your mind. He always do that on purpose."

      He smiled and picked a part of the steak with a fork. He said amidst munching,

      "But you'll agree with me that he's rude."

     She took a swig of the wine from the cup and looked at him,

     "Even a blind knows that."
