"I'm glad you decided to meet me today."

Alfred started, one of his arms, halfway on the table. He had the other down and was staring at me. Of course he should. 

"Needed to let out some steam too. It's nothing too important."

I admitted. He smiled and got distracted by the waitress who had just walked by and was standing by the table, where we could both hold her in our gazes. 

"Have you chosen what to have, miss and sir?"

The blond asked, looking from Alfred to me. I made a choice,

"I'll go for hot latte."

"How about you, sir?"

She turned to Alfred who tapped two of his fingers on his forehead as though he was trying to place his thoughts. He said finally,

"Cold latte with ice."
